Six issues of Mercury lNIurmurs were published through the hard work of its editor. Teresa O'Hearn, and her staff, under the guidance of Mr. Davidge. Three dances were held during seventh bells in th gym for all subscribers to the paper. The Student Council sponsored one of the Pep Dances which were held every week after the football games, The selling of tickets and the giving out of programs at the games were sponsored by the Council. The annual Christmas Dance, held on December 15, 1950, was a big success. Vkie had the pleasure of hearing the Stardusters in the gym, beautifully decorated in red and green with reflecting lights. During intermission there was a vaudef ville organized by Kose Riccio with Willis Ilomick as the master of ceremonies. and presenting acts by .Xlma C1-rza, Rhoda Thomas, Roslyn llolmes and Shirley llolmes, Thomas Rose, George Hamburger and Robert Riley. jean Xyallace, Kay Tumbiolo, Joyce Smith, Tony Marino.
