The remodeled suite includes a classroom. shop, tool crib. othee, and chapter room. The chapter can take pride in such achievements as again winning the coveted skills trophy which includes technical op- erations like welding, rope work, plumbing, soldering, and vaccinating animals. Also. for the second year, the :hapter was host to the other chapters at our annual Davidson County Rally, where our F.F.A. Queen, Betty Patterson, was chosen District Sweetheart. Central entered the best shop exhibit in the rally and won a total of more than S30 in prizes. XY'e used this money to provide trips to the Chicago International Livestock Show for President Fred Barnes and Vice President Williani Johnson. Some of the chapter members had outstanding protect programs this year, one of which belonged to Sophomore Frank Williains, who entered two fine Guernsey heifers in the State Fair. Red johnson, Billy Scruggs and Richard Burnett had nice beef projects while Tracy Roland placed second in the county with his broilers. The Chapter F.F.A. Basketball team went undefeated for the past two years with one exception.. We also had good placings in Livestock judging, Dairy Judging, and Parliamentary procedure. We cooperated in several projects during the year, one being ll most successful broiler project in the school basement. NWC also produced several radio programs, and were very successful on talent night with our Ene entries. , 2:91 i .fl A 1 0 T QQ dx ION?
