Central then began to moxe and jack Mayheld culminated the touchdown drixe by scoring from the one yard line Shortly thereafter Central scored again ack Fisher going oxer from the thirteen yard ine Miles Frost sera ed as game captain WEST Central dropped its fourth straight by the score of '56 13 The Blue and Gold scored hrst howexer as ack Fisher picked up a West fumble ind raced sixty yards for a touchdown West however came back fast and scored almost at will the remainder of the game Centrals final score came late in the fourth period at which time a goalward drixe was culminated by a pass oxer the goal from Harvill Sweeney to jack Fisher Raymond Hahn served as game captain LITTON lt was a bad muddy field on which Central won her first game And it was on the last play of the game that she svored the game s only touchdown Miles Frost took 1 partially blocked pass and raced WEST l.. half the dist ance of the field to gixe the dampened spirits of the Homecoming crowd a thrall as Central won 6 O Hamill Sweeney served as game captain DuPONT Central fought xalnntly before being downed on bad breaks to DuPont the Interscholastic League Champions Led by Captain We akley Wilson the game was st atistically a draw but DuPont came out best in scoring to wan 12 0 The years most effective with elex en out of eighteen passes thrown EAST Central lost another heartbreaker but not until she all but knocked East off the field East marked a tally early in the first period on a pass but left the Tornado to domin ate play throughout the remainder of the game It was truly the toughest game of all to lose considering the beating that was administered to the foe jack Mayfield captained the team for the night The most serious threat that Central made was stopped short on the six inch lane GAME 4 ' a 2 Q A ' A' z A Y' ' 4 .
