SOPI-IOMCDRES ln order to leave our factory as smooth, polished, finished products, this raw material, commonly known as Sophomores, must be mixed with, certain alloys such as Latin, English, Geometry, and History, and many others. The process of their mixing is a slow difficult task requiring a great deal of hard work on the part of the pupil and the teacher. The first six weeks passed and the factory reports were sent to the home front. There were many flaws in the raw material that entered our factory in September but by June these flaws had been erased. Two semesters under the influence of skillful teachers had made the difference. The students have been given new opportunities to discover their hidden talents in the great variety of subjects offered in Central. Many of these students have already become very prominent in our schools activities and have added to the enjoyment of school life. They have established their goals and are striving constantly to obtain all the possible benefits from their work here. M. Blanchard B. Blangy f wg' Q l,. Blecher W. Bliven if B. SUPP-IGMGRES September l, the new batch of raw material entered the factory in the form of young, eager, Junior lO's. After the bewildering process of registration they were ready to begin the year's work, and Central's great wheel of industry was again turning out parts to fit finally into the finished product. The first day was a total loss to our new A'Sophs but they were ready to try it again the next day. A week of wandering around finally brought results. The Sophs at last felt at home on Ye Old Castles' production line. The weeks raced by and the Sophs lost their unpolished air and were as familiar in the halls as the seniors. Many new and exciting experiences awaited them here at Central. Imagine the thrill of their first pep assembly and football game. They were at last Ladies and Knights of Central. The hope and future of the nation will depend upon the way these present A'Ladies and Knights do their work during the next three years. They must redouble their efforts because production has been stepped up and the requirements for the finished product are absolute perfection. . , X -' --f N ee.. A ,.-e A . A- A .. A, . J.
