We pass from the clatter of test tubes to the quietness of the Library, an ideal place to feed a hungry mind information. A popu- lar scene in our Castle is the Art room where the more talented students experiment with paints, pencils, and crayons.

DEDICATION ln order to present a successful Revue, we must have a good director, an excellent leader, a fine ex- ample for fellow workers. Mr. Heitman, our principal at Central, has the above qualities with several additional fine character- istics. He has a deliberate understanding with all peopleg he gives encouragement and guidance to many pupilsg he takes an active part in all school activities. 4 In the fall of 1912 Mr. Heitman came to our school as an instructor in physics. In 1916 he became our assistant principal. Mr. Heitman, making continual progress, became our efficient principal in 1920 and still fulfills that position. In recognition of his twenty-fifth year at Central, we, therefore, wish to acknowledge his service by dedicating the 1937 Maroon and White to A. G. HEITMAN.
