Members of the Chrestomathian Literary Society are prominent in many branches of school activities. especially in forensics. The society has taken part in inter-club debating. basketball. and tennis. An important move made by the Chrestos during the past year was to stop par- ticipating in social events. ln order to segregate the club from all social functions that detract from literary work. this society decided to abolish informals. joints. and club picnics. However. later in the year joint meetings with the Erodelphians were held again.
