Central High School Louisville, Ky. Patricia Huggins Co-Editor Rosalind Hall Co-Editor Juanita Henderson Bus. Manager Foreword Central High School is more than a modern building. It is more than a body of students or a gathering of outstanding teachers. Central is these things, but it has something extra which distinguishes it from many other schools. Central High has a friendliness, a warmness, a receptiveness which cannot be adequately described in words, but nevertheless is evident as one visits the school. Here it is-our Central High School of 1970. It is sketchy at best, for even a thousand volumes of Centralian could not completely recapture the events, the people, the moods of 1969-70. This.is what we thinkg this is what we believeg this is what we want you to consider. This seventh volume of the Centralian presents the story of 1,800 people-what they do and how they live. There was never much doubt in anybody's mind but that Central would take the State, and through the leadership of Ron King, who scored 44 points to break a scoring record, the Yel- low Jackets went all the way to be known as the best ball club in the state of Kentucky. We are proud to make this dedication and are happy to have been a part of that great time.
