J much in life we bet 'G , f - . , Ill TORY The class of 1957 wish to extend to you the underclassmen the happenings of our four years at Central As freshmen we entered Central with the number of seventy one It was believed to be the largest class ever to enroll in Central Most of our time the first year was spent 1ntry1ng to 1nd our way through the corridors to our classrooms There struggled to catch on to all the things that we were supposed to learn We had two sponsors who were Mr Sebastian and Mr Walker When we came back as sophomores there were fifty seven of us We were certain that we would be able to find our way to the different classrooms nevertheless we would occasionally find ourselves in the wrong room Our sponsor for that happy year was Mrs Moore We entered our Junior year with forty seven This year was filled with excite ment We were earnest l1ttle beavers as we began making money for the two big events of our high school days the Junior Senior Prom and the Senior Tr1p We earned our money by selling candy at school and by selling cokes and candy at the basketball games We also received our class rings The most exciting event of that year was the Junior Senior Prom which we sponsored for the seniors Our sponsors for that busy year was Mrs Buckles Now as seniors there are thirty eight We managed to come into our senior year having a scrap 1ron drxva sponsoring a Harvest Moon Festival and oh yes we mustn t forget that donkey basketball game from which we all received a lot of kicks! Our sponsor for this never to be forgotten year 1S Mrs Hooker We hate to leave this great school of learning but we know that we must take that great step graduation We all want to wish you the underlcassmen great success 1n the future QTune of The Wayward Wind J Verses Oh we went to school at Central High Our sophomore year was quite a thrill We went as freshmen green Many trophies we did win We won the tourney in that year We had some parties and lots of fun The best team you ve ever seen Not much study1n Oh what a sin In 55 we came to School The senior year has come at last A new addition we did see We bld yOU fond 3-dlell The highlight of this Junior year We will miss you all a.n awful lot It was the prom for you and me And we hope you ll miss us too Chorus Oh Central High We hate to leave Oh Central High It makes us grieve For we have spent four happy years When we leave this school, We'll shed some tears with a small balance to which we have addedtmore money earned by selling magazines, ll ' ll 1 D ' ' ' .
