DAVIS LDMEE HUNAKER This year Central High School has occassion to grieve. We lose the men who so graciously have helped us with our athletics and physical education for the pas! two years. Coaches I. A. Davis and Lombe Honaker. both from Maryville College. have done what we consider a swell iob here at Central. Coach Davis has reached a place of high esteem in the eyes of the students and faculty as a coach, a teacher, and a gentleman. It is with deep regret that we' tell Mr. Davis and Mr. Honaker good-bye. and we wish to take this opportunity to offer our thanks and send with them the best wishes of Central High School. Even as we grieve. we can reioice. Coach "Red" Eubank has returned to Central. We- all know Coach Eubank's ability, and we see that he brought back with him a most able assistant, Buist Warren. Central's athletic program is fast approaching its pre-war status under Coach Eubank. This program includes extensive "remodel- ing" of the football field. the stands, and the fence. The style of football is undergoing a remodeling also. Coaches Eubank and Warren are returning to the old faithful Tennessee system. We're glad to have you. Coach Warren. Welcome home. Coach Eubank: and may Misa Hicks' four leaf clovers bring you all the luck that each and every one of us want you to have in the future at Central. NATHAN B.
