Floyd Our Class is like an errant knight, Who in his hand does bear A banner 'broidered shining bright With these two words, Be square. This knight is ever wise and goody To truth he always swearsg To aid the helpless he does pause, And happiness he shares. Our knight has battled hard and long, And he has faltered ne'er, But waved his standard 'bove his head With maxim brave, Be square! Thus far and wide he wanders ye He all the danger dares. His armor white is shining bright: His charger, strong and fair. ti He strives ahead and struggles still Against all surging care, And calls aloud his battle cry In fearless tones, Be square ! And in his left hand tightly clasped A laurel wreath he bears, An emblem true of victory And triumph over cares. He labors on with upward gaze However he does fare, And puts his faith in heaven's aid And in his cry, Be square ! His friends admire him and his deeds, His grace and strength so fair.
