J , 1 L Marvin Boeck Perhaps one of the greatest losses to our class was the denth of our classmate and friend, Mn.rvi'n Boeck. He was active in all our class and school activities, being a class officer both years of high school and playing on the foo thrall and bosketbflll teams. .Q.. . f' lQ,f'1i-311 e He fell 111 the last month of so-whomore year and was taken to the YQ : ' Glencoe Hospital, where it :ms discovered he had leukemia, an incurable 4 blood disease. He was taken home, where he died on June 16, 1945 at the age of fifteen years and nine months.
