The theme of this year's Foreign Exchange drive was Pass the Hat and this was done to the tune of S600 to bring over a student from Europe next year. S 1 These senior students, Alice Mull, Secretaryg Dave Dunlap, Vice Pres- identg Sue Johns, Treasurerg and Tom Yarger, President, efficiently handled the affairs of our Student Council. One of the more important projects which was put into use this year was the installation of a stamp machine. The 1958-59 officers are seen purchas- ing stamps. Other accomplishments of our council this year were the ob- taining of an additional pay tele- phone, the selling of refreshments during school play productions, and the distribution of certificates to the honor students. Our Schoal leaders plan Central' future The Booster Club did many good deeds this year. under the direction of Mr. Taylor. One of the most out- standing advancements was the ini- tiation of a Principals Trophy. to be engraved with the name of Cen- tral's outstanding athlete. The award is presented to the all-around boy. The qualifications for this award are based on citizenship. athletic ability, and scholastic standing. The officers of the 1958 Booster Club. Charlene Hans. Treasurer: John Boyer.
