Central guides our steps toward enlightenment through classes. Kay Parker and Kathy Kaman are seen here hurrying to their sociology class. Over 2200 students walk through these halls daily on their way to classes ranging from algebra to world history. It would take many years for a student to take every course offered at Centralg there' fore, students choose electives to complete their own college preparatory or commercial program. Through these classes we learn the responsibilities of our lives as adult citi- zens. tif! I3 ,Av 417' '37 4 3 K

Tick, tick, tick goes the clock above as time passes, but who hears? Everyone is too busy chatting. Meet me under the clock, has become a time-worn expression. The spot under the clock in the main hall has been known for many years as the most noted gathering place before and after school and between classes. The clock has changed in these many years, but the spot under it has remained as the meeting place of the students of Central.
