l l . 4 THE INTERLUDE Senior Class Oflicers hold office all year. For their splendid work, let's give them a cheer. For President again, Walter Brodbeck, our old friend, Leslie Lange holds oflice number two in line, and say, he's doing very 1'ine. Lucile Wilson thought the sea of matrimony grand, So now her place is filled by Marilee Stanz. Our Treasurer is John Schohl. CI wonder if we're in the hole?j Class Yell Leader is Bob Wray. He always wades right in the fray. The Senior A play, now history, was quite a great victory. The characters were splendid. Here's what they all did: Everett Bonnell was an author fcontrary to belief not a pauperb, Betty Moran, his wife, played an important part in his life! Helen Burgess and Tom McNeff furnished the love elementg William Fassnacht worked with farmer tools, but we know, however, he was nobody's fool, Phyllis and Billy fMarilee Stanz and Leslie Lange, you knowj just about stole the whole show. Dick Morgan and Maxine Schott had together cast their lot. Regina Dennis. Lucinda in the play, was right in the thick of all the fray: Fran Musick, the housekeeper, was always in a stir, While Mrs. Marshall CBetty Owensj, a neighbor, and Mary Nash, her daughter, could not have been better: e Jerry was played by Joe Henderson: June Wass an Angie Cooooooooo!!! what a punj All helped along the success, and I really couldn't tell who was best. Guess what happened on January eighth! The Senior Prom was destined by Fate. It began with a march so grand-the music was played by a wonderful band. Dreamy music, beautiful girls-I bet all the boys had them in a whirl. A good time was had by all, everyone from short to tall. Instead of the traditional class day, we held Senior Cap and Gown day. A party was held in our gym so small, and BOY what a time was had by all. At Baccalaureate Dr. Rhys Price Jones gave the address in inspiring tones. Some songs were sung by the Glee Club, aye, but here's the rub, It made us think with a sigh that the end of our school years was drawing nigh. Of course you couldn't guess who, as scholars, were best. 1 Betty Owens was our valedictorian with Mary Woodward our salutatorian. At Commencement, our last event, in dignified speeches, great truths did they teach us, At the end of this service we received our token of recognition fdiplomas to youj amid congratulations. p This ended our school years with all we hold dear.
