Girls Athletic Association is one of the larg- est clubs at Central. The girls accumulate points by participating in various athletic ac- tivities and awards are given at the end of the school year. G.A.A. is known for its spir- ited initiation and slumber party. They also hold several playnights during the year. A major activity of G.A.A. is sponsoring the annual girl ask boy Christmas Ball. X 3' ational Honor Society Honor Society is a national organization open to students with above-average grade points ijuniors--3.5, seniors--3.25l. Through this club students with outstanding scholarship and leadership are recognized. Honor Soci- ety's money making project is the annual Val- entines Day sale of Love-A-Grams. These messages of endearment finance their formal initiation held every spring. ,wemulnnusnnnaauianvf .14 fl? '-, 1- Honor Society's president Tom Lorence examines the contents ofthe Student Book Store which he helped organize. Mrs. Leach presents Max Corley with an award for placing high on National Merit Scholarship Tests.
