The Future Business Leaders of America Chapter was very active this year. They sold candy to raise money for their state and national dues. During the fall season. Central's officers were installed by Liberty's Chapter under the sponsorship of Ron Larner at a candlelight ceremony. In April, FBLA members assisted North Central Association members with typing. Also in April, the chapter took a trip to Macomb. They toured Citizens National Bank and Will's Word Processing Department. They were also honored to have two members receive scholarships from FBLA. They arrived at Park Place Hotel at 12:00 and spent the afternoon swimming, playing tennis, and watching movies. That night they attended a Kansas City Royals ball game at Royal Stadium. The next day, they spent eight tiring hours at Worlds of Fun and arrived back at Central at 11:00 P.M.
