Dedicated to Fred Bennett This year’s Annual Staff would like to dedicate the 1974 edition of the Central Hi-Lites to Mr. Bennett. In his years at Central he has shown a great deal of enthusiasm toward the students. All the time and hard work he has devoted has been deeply appreciated. Board of Education FRED ZIMMERMAN PRESIDENT The Board of Education of Community District 3, Adams County, is composed of seven members, each of whom is elected for a 3 year term. Fred Zimmerman of the Columbus area, serving his sixth year, serves as the President. Roger Mohrman, Camp Point, in his fourth year, serves as the Boards Secretary. Reece Cantrell, Paloma, is also in his fourth year. Larry Gronewald of LaPrairie, is serving his 3rd year. Melvin Ihnen of the Golden community, Maurice Brady of Clayton, and Norbert Witt of the Kellerville area are all completing their first year on the board. The Board of Education is responsible for setting educational goals and policies and the financial well-being of the school district. Board members give generously of their time and abilities for the betterment of the education of students in our district.
