SCHOOL SONG WE will back you, our Central High School; We will back you to victory. Banners fly for Central High ' Cross the sky they seem to cry Loyal sons go marching on, Marching on from dawn to dawn; We're defenders of black and gold Saying, Onward for Central High! CENTRAL HI-LITES PUBLISHED BY THE ANNUAL STAFF OF CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL CAMP POINT, ILLINOIS DEB HEUBNER, EDITOR IN MEMORY: Douglas Keith Smith (March 10, 1956) (August 13, 1972) Fond recollections Speak louder than words. But still we feel we must say That we miss you, Doug, And our hearts give a tug. Remembering you went away. We'll miss your smile. It was always there. And the friendly wave of your hand. God touched your soul And death took its toll. But somehow we understand. You've earned your rest. Your work is done. But eternity lives without end. Look down from above, As we say, with love: Well done; we miss you, old friend.
