ZrtWLJX, X- + A As CENTRAL HI-LITES CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL CAMP POINT, ILLINOIS KATHY LEE, Editor This is simply a small Thank You from all the students at Central, past, present, and future, to a woman who helps make Central the wonderful school that it is. There is surely no one at Central who doesn't realize how much Mrs. Doris Sapp helps each and every student at Central every day. Mrs. Sapp, head secretary, does everything from typing to making refunds. Although she is kept constantly busy, she always greets you with a smile. IN MEMORY OF IN MY FATHER'S HOUSE by Robert Freeman No, not cold beneath the grasses. Not close-walled within the tomb; Rather, in our Father's mansion. Living, in another room. Living, like the man who loves me, Like my child with cheeks abloom. Out of sight, at desk or schoolbook. Busy, in another room. Nearer than my son whom fortune Beckons where the strange lands loom; Just behind the hanging curtain, Serving, in another room. Shall I doubt my Father's mercy? Shall I think of death as doom. Or the stepping o'er the threshold To a bigger, brighter room? Shall I blame my Father's wisdom? Shall I sit enswathed in gloom; When I know my loves are happy, Waiting in another room? After a rather quiet bus ride we stopped at Mexico, Mo. for breakfast. Refreshed, we continued our journey to Bagnell Dam where we arrived around 10:30 A.M. In spite of the cool weather, many of us went swimming in one of the pools. However, since it was cool, some of us went hiking or shopping. After an Eventful and rather Wet Friday night we managed to dry off and drag ourselves to breakfast. After bidding farewell to the Holiday Inn at 1:30 P.M., we boarded the buses for an afternoon of fun and games at Bagnell Dam. At 3:30 we left Bagnell Dam and started on our long, but quiet, journey home, stopping only for supper at A W Rootbeer in Mexico, Mo. We arrived home around 8:00 P.M. Saturday night where we departed. Although we were tired, joy and happiness filled our hearts as we realized the Class of '69 had enjoyed themselves immensely. 64 ”69 was here!! Tie It Tight!
