During the year we lost Gary Alexander, Joyce Allen, Dickie Davis, Patricia Faulconer, Cassandra Gilliland, Linda Ideus, Barbara Lierly, David Mason, Bob Oenning, Linda Pendleton, Bonnie Sidwell, Jerry Squier, Gary Tournear, Toni Tritsch, John Warning, Sandra Warning, Wesley Webster, Gary White, and Juanita Williams. We gained Lizzetta Bastean, Sandra Sievers, Sharon Wietholder, and Linda Ideus. The activity of the year was our car wash. Our sponsor was Mr. Allen. In the fall of 1964 we returned to Central as Jolly Juniors. Our class was sorry to report we had lost the following members: Betty Bangert, Sharon Bunte, Candace Hogan, John Howald. Patricia Johnson, Cheryl Roy, Marlin Squier, Linda Taute, Kathy Wallace. We presented our class play Time Out For Ginger under the supervision of Mrs. Rowell. From selling fruit cakes and pennants we were able to entertain the seniors at the prom, Moon River , at the Holiday Inn in Quincy, Illinois. Our sponsors were Mrs. Rowell and Miss Atkinson. Returning in 1965 as Sophisticated Seniors we lost William Bunte. We gained Chris Benson, Sandy Higgins, Vicky Lieb, Marlin Squier, and Jerry Schieferdecker. We elected the following class officers: President, Kenny Eilers; Vice-President, Donna Craig; Secretary, Susan Heinecke; Treasurer, Janet Rhea; Reporter, Larry Royalty; and Student Council Representatives, Sandy Sievers, Lois Cline, and Mary Flesner. The activities of the year consisted of our Christmas Dance, the Senior Class Play, the Junior-Senior Prom, our senior trip, Baccalaureate, and Commencement. Our sponsors were Mrs. Caley and Mr. Bennett. Sadness prevails as we say farewell to Central High School and some of the best years of our lives. She said she would do it!!!! 81 82 83 Bryan, ya got me! 84 FACULTY!?! 85 SENIOR On Friday, May 13, 1966 at 5 a.m., we seniors boarded chartered buses for our two day trip to the Chestnut Mountain Lodge at Galena, Illinois. We ate breakfast at Bis-shop's Buffett in Davenport, Iowa. We then boarded our buses for the remaining two hour trip. At 11:30 we arrived at the lodge, where almost everybody went swimming whether they intended to or not. Before leaving Saturday morning, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the country from the ski lift. At Dubque, Iowa, we took an excursion trip up the Mississippi before leaving for home. We arrived home Saturday night at 10 p.m., a very tired and happy bunch of seniors.
