CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1960 , 89 green freshmen entered the doors of Central High School. They were David Aden. Our class sponsor was Mr. Allen. In the fall of 1961, we returned to Central as Silly sophomores. During the year we gained Roger Goudschaal, Connie Sandy, Ernie Slottag, and Dave Winebrinner. We lost Lindell Johnson, Danny Hummer, Judy Louderback, Beverly Roberts, Loney Belle Schaffer, Terry Stille, Connie Sandy, and Linda Veile. The high-lite of the year was our Roaring 20 s Dance. Mr. Ehmen was our class sponsor. Again we returned to Central in the fall of 1962, but this time as Jolly Juniors. We were happy to gain Darrell Allen, Pat Balzer, Marianna Eidson, Richard Gaebel, Loney Belle Schaffer, and Pat Warning. We were sorry to lose Darrell Allen, Pat Balzer, Marianna Edison, Helen Sidwell, and Pat Warning. This year we sold pounds of candy. We entertained the seniors at the prom, Evening in Paris, in the high school gym. Miss Atkinson and Mr. Parker were our class sponsors. Returning for the last time in the fall of 1963, we were sorry to lose Carolyn Cantrell, and Richard Gaebel. We were happy to gain Danny Hummer. This year our class officers are President Kenny Brillhart; Vice-President, Ramon Grimmer; Secretary, Marlene Bruns; Treasurer, Marcia Stonewall; Reporter, Wanda Baily; Student Council Representatives, Connie Schaberg, Jim Shank, and Karen Zoller. Our class sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Schuller. The activities of the year included getting Senior pictures taken, the Junior-Senior Prom, our senior trip, baccalaureate, and commencement. SENIOR CLASS PROPHECIES DAVID ADEN is Chemistry and Physics instructor at Central. MARSHA ADEN has been appointed Road Commissioner of the new super highway between Golden and Fort Leonardwood. RUTH ALBERS is now the owner and operator of the Barn. DIANA AUSMUS, because of her ability to get the highest grades on Mr. Price's Spanish tests, has now taken over the Spanish department of Central. WANDA BAILY is now President of the women's bowling league at the Strike Spare Bowling Lanes in Camp Point. JOYCE BAKER has replaced the Miss Clairol girl. The question is: Does she or Doesn't she? SHARON BALZER has now opened the 18th branch of Eddy's Tastee Freez. It had its beginning in Camp Point. KAY BANGERT has just won the grand championship purple ribbon in the food division of the Camp Point World's Fair. BETTY BEHRENS is now head waitress at the Golden Cafe. KAREN BLACKETTER has taken over the direction of the Central High boys' chorus. KENNETH BRILLHART is now lighting the candleabra on the Liberace Show and hoping someday to attain top billing. MARLENE BRUNS is now chief editor of Shan's Coatsburg Daily Gazette. BETTY BUSBOOM is now campaigning for President on the Republican ticket. Mr. Wartick is her campaign manager. ROBERT COLVIN won first prize for the largest ear of corn at the Golden Corn Festival. LOREN CONOVER has been named Pool Player of the Year. Next year he will appear in the Olympics as a representative from the United States. TERRY DeJAYNES and his wife, Toni, are now living on a farm near Kellerville. PATTY DIETRICH is having the grand opening of the new cleaning establishment in Camp Point. EDDY DODSON has recently made his debut on his new comedy show Laugh Along With Ed. PAT EHMEN and her husband, David, are now living in the White House. DAVID FLESNER is now raising rabbits on his 100 acre farm near Golden. KAREN FLESNER is now operating her own beauty salon in LaPrairie. Her specialty is bleaching red hair to blonde. STEVE FLESNER has just been selected as Farmer of the Year.” VIRGIL FRESE and his wife, Joyce, have now added another Frese to the long list of basketball players for Central. ALBERT GARVER, better known as Thomas Satan, has just won the Noble Prize in literature for short stories. Their titles have been censored. ROGER GOUDSCHAAL is now owner of Gabby's Nightclub and Casino which has recently moved from Golden to Las Vegas. MELVIN GRAFF is now operating a 1000 acre farm near Clayton. JEANNE HASCHEMEYER has won fame for her new hairstyle which was made famous by the Beatles. JULEEN HASCHEMEYER and NINA PARN are secretaries in the Superintendent's office at Central. DONNIE HENDERSON has just won the heavy weight championship in a return bout against an old enemy. SHERRI HICKMAN'S marriage to America's No. 1 richest man has just been announced. DUANE HUGHES has been named Justice of the Peace in Clayton. DENNIE HULL, after his long climb up the ladder of success, has just been appointed bat boy for the Chicago Cubs. DAN HUMMER and his wife, Twila, have taken over Reed's Delicatessen. MYRON HUSTON, a millionaire oil man, has just moved from Kellerville to Texas where he purchased ten new oil wells. ALVIE IHNEN has been elected for his fourth term as mayor of Golden. RICHARD KRAMBERG was seen last week attending the annual Father and Son Banquet with his son, Richard, Jr. WARREN LEE, because of his ability to make up new Spanish words, has just rewritten the Spanish book. DEAN LEENERTS, Central's mathematical genius, has been given a teaching position at Harvard. SHIRLEY LEENERTS is a secretary for Kindhart's Garage in Golden. WAYNE LUEDERS and his wife, Nancy, have sold their 38 room house to buy a larger 50 room house to provide adequate room for their enlarging family.
