SENIOR CLASS PROPHECIES Linda Aden, top model of the United States has been elected as cover girl of the year for Vogue Magazine. Wayne Lyle Aden, wealthy Volkswagon dealer of the great metropolis of Golden, has just started his year in sell out sale with the slogan, Keep in style with Lyle. Mrs. Gloria Albers Reuschal has just returned home from the hospital with her twenty-first little bundle from heaven. It has been given the name of Alan, Jr., Jr., Jr.,-------------------------------------------- Betty Alcorn has just served her one millionth cup of coffee at the Clayton Coffee Shop. She is known among friends as Caffein Betty . Priscilla Alcorn is the new manager and teacher of a famous comedian academy in New York. Under the name of the academy are the words, Be a corn with Alcorn . Marilyn Allen has just taken over the Steve Allen Show on the CBS network now situated in Quincy. John Baird has just been chosen space man of the year for the U. S. Air Force. He will be one of the seven men to make the first trip to Mars. Nancy Bartell has just been appointed as press secretary by the President of the United States, Piere Salinger. Richard Bennett is now a famous dare devil driver at Salt Flats. His most famous feat is crashing into the side abutments of bridges. Jeanene Bluhm has just replaced Julie London as the new Marlburo girl. She was selected because of her ability to make herself comfortable. Barbara Bruns, famous beauty consultant, has released the secret of her radiant hair. Wash at least three times a day and use baking soda in between to keep the oil down. Jeanette Bruns is now a famous accordianist in Lawrence Welk's Orchestra. Albert Buss, owner of Abby's Tomato Patch, recently led his pack of ferocious beagles through his weed infested patches. Bob Buss, owner of Gabby's Tavern, has recently won a Gold Medal at the Olympics in cross country. Billy Craig is now head bus driver at Central High. His friends refer fondly of him as Crash Craig . James and Pat Deming are now farming a 3000 acre farm north of Coatsburg. Larry Dieterie, a past Central beauty, is now owner of Shell Oil. Lee Echternkamp is now replacing Mr. Parker in the Commercial Department. Judy Ehrhardt has now taken the place of Univac and is predicting the coming elections. Gary Faulkner is now taking the place of Derwood Kirby on the Garry Moore Show. Gary Flesner is now handling the Intramural games on Wednesday nights. He does his own refereeing. Larry Flesner is now a professional hunting guide and also runs a Ford garage in Golden. Ray Flesner is head of the Gillet Company and professional pool player. He says he owes it all to his days at Central. Kenneth Gaebel now has his own gear shift knob business. Some say he is the best installer in the business. Betty Graff has just replaced Jackie Bean as the new Weather Girl on KHQA Television. Sam Griswold has now replaced Bert Parks as M. C. in the Miss America contest. Gary Hamilton now owns half interest in the Thompson Trucking Company of Liberty Illinois. Bill Harris is now the twist instructor at the Arthur Murray Studio. He first realized his talent in the Miss Central contest. Sharon Haschemeyer has just been named Miss Congeniality in the Miss Quincy contest. Mary Heinecke has just been named Miss FHA of Illinois. This fall she plans to replace Mrs. Evans at Central who is retiring to Florida. David Howald has now a weekly debate on T. V. called Howald verses Winget. Jim Knipmeyer, owner of the Chevrolet garage, has just been found to be selling Fords in Liberty. Robyn Knox is now head trombonist in Lawrence Welk's band. Roger Leach, society leader in Hollywood, is still giving his wild parties. Judy Leenerts is now National President of the D.A.R. awards. She has been voted as Miss Sweetheart of America. Carol Leslie is now feature editor for the Chicago Daily News. She first became famous when she expanded the Panthers Tale to a national basis. Danny Lichtsinn is now tractor pulling champion. He gives all the credit to his Ford tractors. Nancy Lichtsinn is now owner of the Stockyard Inn. Jean Meier Caley is now living in retirement in Loraine. CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1959 we entered the halls of good old Central High as green freshmen. In the fall of 1960, we again entered the halls of Central, but this time as Silly sophomores. During the year we lost Donna Hull, Donald Miller, and Everett Tabor. We gained Melvin Moore, Larry Schieferdecker, and Sidney Sidwell. The high-lite of the year was our Sadie-Hawkins Day Dance. Our class sponsor was Mrs. Wickliffe. The next fall, in 1961 we returned to Central as Jolly Juniors. Our class was sorry to report we had lost the following members: Judith Demming, Terry Forrest, Marylee Julifs, Irion Kindhart, Lynn Putnam, Delbert Secrest, Carol Volbracht, and Alice Welty. We gained Gloria Albers, David How aid, and Nancy Nyberg. We presented our class play The Gallant Ghost under the supervision of Mrs. Wickliffe. From selling tons of cookies we were able to entertain the seniors at the prom, Sayonora , in the high school gym. Mrs. McCoy and Mr. Parker were our class sponsors. Returning in 1962 as Sophisticated Seniors we lost Betty Beebe, Nancy Nyberg. Ronald Hemphill, and Larry Schieferdecker. We gained Kenneth Gable and Mrs. Denninger. Our class sponsors were Miss Magill and Mr. Allen. We elected the following class officers: President, Bill Norris; Vice-President, Gary Hamilton; Secretary, Joyce Stevens; Treasurer, Samuel Griswold; Reporter, Lee Echternkamp; and Student Council Representatives, Pat Demming, Bill Norris, and Allen Stevens. The activities of the year consisted of our Halloween Ball, the Boy's Beauty Contest, the Senior Variety Show, the Junior-Senior Prom, our senior trip. Baccalaureate, and Commencement. Bill Moody is now a world famous memory expert. He got his start at the assembly at Central. Janice Neasta has donated an automatic dishwasher to the Central High Cafeteria to stop the dishwater hands. Bill Norris is now chief manager of the Boston Celtics. He was recently playmate of the month. Lyndell Peters is now doing the Wildroot Commercial. Karis Ann Pierce and her husband, Gary Eilers, are now co-owners of the Barn. Curtis Post has just discovered a successful freckle remover. However, it isn't available to the public because he used it all on himself. Diane Post is now a famous alto at Radio City Music Hall. Lou Powell has just replaced Penny on As the World Turns”. Lou studied Penny's habits every day during her 6th hour noon hour for four years. Terry Pratt is now cigarette salesman for the American Tobacco Company. Dale Reckers is now the head coach for the Camp Point Little League. Marilyn Reuschal has now replaced Liberace as the world's most famous pianist. Marilyn Richards is now a famous speech correctionist and tutors famous performers on correct pronunciations. Larry Saathoff is now the owner of Pickle's Drug Store, located in front of Central on Route 24. Elaine Schlueter has just replaced Mary Harvey on the Popeye Show. Jim Schmidt, after gaining recognition for his track accomplishments, has now gone to Russia and has won fame and fortune there. Juanita Schmidt has recently purchased the Corner Market from her former employer. Herb Schmiedeskamp is the head dishwasher at the Bunny Club in Chicago. He takes all the little bunnies under his wing. Albert Schreacke now owns all the oil wells in Texas. He claims to owe all of his success to the faculty at Central. Roger Schwengel has taken over his father's farm. He has recently been selected Farmer of the Year. Dale Shanholtzer is the new proprietor of Burton Cave which he won in a beauty contest. Virginia Sharrow now accompanies Benny Goodman in his band. Allen Stevens is now living in Arabia with a harem of 500. Joyce Stevens has just survived her fifth little Frese without getting frost bitten. Karen Stout has recently written a book, How to Blush without Showing It . Maxine Ufkes is now head ticket puncher at the Washington Theater in New York. She got her start by punching tickets at Central. Jim Vancil is now racing his horses in the forthcoming Kentucky Derby. Elaine Wear has just brought her 10th oil well in the famous Kellerville. Ronnie Wear, past president of Alcoholics Anonymous, has now replaced Sherman on the Rocky, the Flying Squirrel Show”. Clyde Wilson, farming in Missouri, recently turned down an offer from the New York Mets. The reason for this was because he didn't want to leave his seventh wife alone. Sandy West, now head-of the Democrat Party under the influence of Jerry Bartell, also is a famous cheerleading instructor. She is conducting her cheerleading clinics all over the United States. Barbara Lynn Yates now has a phyciatry office in Dover, England. So ends the list of our class of 63 .
