Senior C ' ass JJropAecp DOROTHY LAMMA is starring in the 1972 version of the popular children's show, Winky Dink. NANCY LAW, JEANNE GUNN, and DONNA HENDRICKS decided that it was time for their comedy team to go professional. They auditioned in New York and have been selected to replace the Three Stooges. BEVERLY ADEN and BEVERLY McGARTLAND, in their spinsterhood, have opened a Lonely Hearts Club for those over 80. ROGER MARSHALL is now a MMM (Mimeograph Machine Manager) for the Daily Planet. He became interested in this occupation while at Central. STEVE NEESE is supervising the calisthenics program for this year’s United States Olympic Team. CAROL and SHIRLEY NYBERG are teaching girls' PE at Central. It is Shirley’s special job to see that the girls take good showers every day. SHIRLEY NORRIS has finally saved enough money to buy her own horse. KATHLEEN DINKLAGE has set the chemical world into an uproar with her discovery of fifteen new radioactive elements and her developement of the KD-bomb, ten times more powerful than the H-bomb. BARBARA PENDLETON and JEAN LIERLY are doing television work these days -- advertising the soap that gives that clear, smooth complexion, and the fingernail polish that has a bright, lustrous look that lasts for two weeks without chipping. DON SQUIER, the millionaire oilman, has just moved to Arabia, where he bought ten new oil fields. Still an eligible bachelor, he is hoping to find the girl of his dreams” there. As a result of the perfect bowling scores of JOHN SQUIER, ERIC ENNEN and GARY PARN have installed an automatic pinsetter at the Camp Point Bowling Alley, which they own and operate. NANCY HEDBERG, well known for her achievement in Home Economics at CHS, is head professor of the Home Ec. Department at the University of Illinois. WALLACE MANKER is now a nationally syndicated columnist, known for his articles on Conformity of Soul, Mind, and Body”. DEANNE SEARLS has been awarded a million dollar contract to appear in the new Broadway musical, Top Side Story”. WARD SHANK drives the Clayton school bus now, and we hear those kids have some tales to tell after their exciting bus rides! MARCIA ROYALTY hasbecome nationally known because of herdancing schools, located all over the country. She specializes in the Big Apple, Mashed Potato Twist, and modern jazz. GARY SCHIEFERDECKER now owns a chain of markets on every corner in the United States. His original Corner Market is located in Clayton. DONLEY SCHLUETER has been elected Playboy of the Year in a contest sponsored recently by Playgirl Magazine. ROSE and SANDRA TOURNEAR are now wearing two third-finger-left-hand rings instead of the one each wore in high school. LEONA TOURNEAR is an IBM operator at the missile base in Cape Canaveral. Her biggest assignment came two days ago when she pressed the button that sent the first American to Mars. DONNA SCHMIEDESKAMP has recently been named Farmer of the Year. She is being honored soon at the annual Buffalo Barbecue at her old Alma Mater, Central. JIM SCHREACKE this year broke the mile run record at the '72 Olympics with a time of 2 minutes, 3 1 2 seconds. HENRY SMITH is the owner of a hennery located in Big Neck. In his spare time he ushers tours around the grounds and through the barns. Senior G a ss JJrop iect As I was looking through the 1972 Who's Who in America”, I came across a section dedicated to the famous 1962 class of Central High School. It read as follows: KAREN ANDERSON is working at the Warsaw Brewery, where we hear she is just so happy ! BOB ALBERS, owner of a large drug store, keeps a supply of Geritol in stock for his best customer, LINDA EMBREE MALCOMSON, who needs that extra energy to keep up with her seven children. ROGER BENNETT is now manufacturing customized cars. His pride and joy is his '32 Ford roadster with a fuel -injected Corvette engine, four-speed box, and Pas-a-Traction rear end! JERRY BARTELL has just received the third gold record of his fabulous singing career for his latest hit, Rocking in a Rocket . SHERRI DeWITT has just signed a movie contract; her first movie will be Kitten on a Hot Tin Roof . The male lead will be played by KEN BLAIR, another member of the class of '62. PAT DOYLE is now Professor of Foreign Languages at Sing Sing, where she is still hoping to meet an eligible man. PHYLIS DECKER and JANET WINGET are being sought after as ticket-punchers for all the Broadway and Hollywood premieres. ANN ECHTERNKAMP just won the grand championship purple ribbon in the Food Division of the Columbus World’s Fair. Her entry was a jar of elderberry wine. DARLENE FRESE has celebrated her 5th anniversary in her exclusive Beverly Hills Beauty Salon. Some of her best customers are Sandra Dee, Annette, and Fabian. JUDY FLESNER is still in nurses' training. She hasn’t become an RN because she has been on probation for flirting with doctors. ELLEN BOWEN and DIXIE LEE WALKER received high honors lately when they appeared on the Ted Mack Amateur Hour with a cornet special. BILL HENNING has taken over management of the Windmill Inn in Golden and is constantly feuding with GENE HENDERSON, proprietor of the Country Inn. SHARON HANKE is the mother of five little rabbits , who all show promise of becoming the best basketball players Central has seen since 1960. JANET IHNEN has just written a novel entitled, My Adventures at Ladies Aid Meetings , which has sold over ten copies. EDWARD IHNEN is the proud owner of the world's largest baby monkey farm, situated west of Golden. NANCY JACOBS is now employed in the principal's office at Central as a secretary. DON JENKINS has replaced Leonard Bernstein in his Children's Concerts. This popular program features such attractions as piano and clarinet solos by Mr. Jenkins. JUDY BLUHM is the empress of Manoco. She met and married the emperor while on a trip around the world. SHARON JANSSEN is now a Hollywood star. She was discovered while attending California Lutheran. DICK BANGERT has recently opened a Jumpin' Jiminy at his home, where he is giving instruction in trampoline to the neighbors. O. A. JONES has perhaps one of the most interesting jobs in the nation: he interviews all the showgirls for the Las Vegas revues. KAY KNORR has taken up the career of interior decorating. She is quite successful and happy. SHARON KOONTZ, the new mother of quintuplets, has decided it is time to trade in the Wharton Volkswagen. She is thinking of buying a bus! JUDY LEENERTS, a former Miss Universe, has just won the Mrs. America contest. She got her start in beauty contests at Central. LEWIS IHNEN is the new owner of Lester's Food Store in Golden. Senior ( ' ass JJrop iecij JEAN WRIGHT, Home economics teacher at CHS, refers to the home of the former JUDY WEAR as an example of happy family life to her eager students. RICHARD CASLEY and GILBERT BUSS have just been re-elected to their third term as mayor of Clayton and mayor of Kellerville, respectively. WILMA AUSMUS, who is US champion typist, received a new electric typewriter recently in recognition of her great talent. LINDA NORRIS WILLIAMS is increasing the number of the Williams family year by year. Congratulations, Joe! JUDY SLOTTAG recently made a very successful debut at the Metropolitan Opera House. She had the starring role in the opera, Madame Butterfly . After reading the section, I closed the book with many regrets.
