CENTRAL DIVISION In 1955, the new Central High School combined into one class the Juniors of Golden, Camp Point, and Clayton. Betty Jean Tieken did not return, but the following were added: Freddie Behrens, Jeanette Bienhoff, Patricia Davis, Shirley Gooding, Marjorie Schwartz, and Donna Weisinger. Class officers were Larry Ehmen, President: Donna Weisinger, Vice-Presidentg Roger Bienhoff, Secretaryg J irnmy Aden, Treasurerg Bob Newell, Student Council Representative. Class sponsors were Mrs. Blanche Hill and Mrs, Helen Wickcliffe. Highlights of the year were the arrival of class rings, FOREVER ALBERT, our class play, career day in Quincy, and the Starlite Prom held at the new gymnasium Returning in '56-'57 as sophisticated seniors, these same members elected James Patton, President, Wayne Gibson, Vice-President, Don Stabler, Treasurerg and Donna Weisinger, Sec- retary. Sponsors for this last year of learning were Harry Pacatte, Vivian Hufnagel, and Lila Wyss, The year's activities consisted of picture-taking, invitation ordering, and, in general, preparation for graduation, We were guests at the J unior-Senior Prom held at Springlake Country Club. For our trip, we made a two-day tour of Chicago. Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises were held in the Central Gymnasimn. Thusly the Seniors of 5 I say Farewell to the best years of their livesl CLASS WILL We, the members of the Senior Class of Central High School, County of Adams, State of Illinois, do hereby make, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills made by us in the past. I, James Aden, hereby will my driving ability to Norman Eilers and my ability to get along with women to Bobby Leenerts in case he needs it. I, Pat Aden, will my belated friend, Mary Ami lhnen, the hopes of being married a year after graduation, to Annette'Buss the ability of writing letters to a Swabie and my C-M 'I membership to Audrey Jean Tennhaeff. I, Robert Aden, will my ability to like ice cream to anyone who has this taste, and my position in the kitchen to Karen Mason. I, Anita Anderson, will all of my front seats in classes to Nancy Anderson and my typing ability to Carol Albers. I, Virginia Austin, will to next year's Spanish Class all our stale jokes, and to Danny Moellring my privilege of being at the head of the lunch line. I, Larry Balzer, will to Pete Shelton my good times in Quincy and the ability to keep going as long as Ido. I, Loren Balzer, will my ability to read books and talk in class to Larry Wright. I, Freddie Behrens, will my ability to run the projector to the senior class of next year. I, Betty Bent, will to Jackie Barron my slow growing hair, to Elaine Adams my worn out gym shoes, and to the flute section of the band all old and used music. I, Jeanette Bienhoff, will my pet snake and peach tree to Carol Saathoff, hoping she will cherish it forever. I, Roger Bienhoff, will my ability to blow the horn to Elaine Adams, and the ability to keep my hair straight ro Bob Leenerts.
