Alice Hufendick, who was a great typist in high school, has just been offered the position as personal typist for the President of the United States. And Maralee Frazen has in her possession the “Betty Gay store for whose dresses she designs herself. Larry Galloway is now the famous strickly “One-man Ha Ch Chacha Cha band that broadcasts occasionally from Fern Hill. Darlene Gunn has just resigned her position as head secretary at Moorman’s and married Harry Duvall. Marilyn Guenther, now Mrs. Jim Clevenger is living on a 1000 acre ranch in Montana raising Angus cattle. And Janice Hanke, now Mrs. Denton Nall, is head nurse in the U. N. Hospital in Soeul, Korea. Carson Hibbert is chief accountant in a Wall Street Bank in New York. Lois Hogan married the president of the telephone company and is now busy raising little telephone operators. Patsy Kestner still writes “Dear John Letters.” We hear Ronald Janssen and his new car aren’t in the garage as much as he and his Plymouth were. How many times was it, Ronnie ? ? ? ? I hear from Ronnie, that Mary Ihnen was in London last month, buying all new wardrobes for several movie stars. She handles money in a big way. Yvonne Mixer is bookkeeper for the new CHRYSLER-PLYMOUTH SALES AND SERVICES GARAGE. Julia Moellring is the Supervisor of the Old Maid Nursing Home of Pea Ridge. I happen to glance over and see that entire Section B was reserved for Hazel Mixer and her cheaper by the dozen family. You remember Hazel always did do things in a big way. Norma McCallister and her husband have just signed a contract with M. G. M. as a skating team. Virgil Leenerts has just returned from giving a Piano Recital in Carnegie Hall. He is not only famous for playing the piano by hand but also by ear. Carol Leenerts has just won an auctioneer contest for L. S. M. F. T. She has cried 19,989 sales and never once lost her voice. And Eunice Patton is now famous for her gum, “Droppa Pound” which she accidently discovered by chewing “Chum Gum” and “Bazooka.” There’s Mary Salisbury. I see she found time to get away from her large estate in the East. Mary is well known for her breed of pink poodles. Esther Schlueter has just written a famous book, “This I’ve Heard.” Her fame and experience has been reflected from her high school days. Darrell Schlueter is still a bachelor and is using automatic buttons to do his cleaning etc. Remember Carol Schuster as the editor of “The Panther.” She is now celebrating her twentieth anniversary as editor of the Chatton Gazette. JoAnne Stevens is now dealing in wrecked cars. Bobby Vonholt has taken over the Rounds Funeral Chapel in Mt. Sterling. Wilma Weisheit lives on a farm near Meyer, Illinois, and raises Holstein cows. Ronnie Vollbracht is a rich bachelor who farms in the summer and goes to Florida for the winter. James w ortman is now a freak speed demon, who, as you remember, raced down the Main Streets of Golden. You remember Don Wallace and his famous gorilla act. It seems he is so famous he is working on Broadway with Frankenstein, Inc. You know this afternoon has just flown by for me. The game was exciting and all the news about the 54 Seniors was just terrific. Well, I’d better be going home. P. S. Central won 21 to 0.
