 WE'VE ONLY JUST BEGUN was the theme for the 1972 Junior-Senior Prom held on May 6 in the Central High School gymna- sium. King and Queen were Moses Garcia and Kim Scott, chosen by the junior class, with Kenneth Thorson and Denise Cyr acting as attendants. The gym was elabo- rately decorated in a Grecian style.

'The Bomb -the Winner All Those Doughnuts! RAFT RACES are held each spring down the rugged pathway of Plateau Creek, just a few miles driving time from Grand Junction, providing there is sufficient runoff from the snowpack in the high country. For the first time, this year at least three rafts of girls finished the race. The Ski Club sponsored the event, and each raft had to be homemade and contain no more than four people. The Bomb won a somewhat disputed victory over the early leader in the race. Rapids - Tight Race Who's Following Ooh, that cold water!
