He teaches two courses through the student teaching office that give University credit. They are special methods courses in teaching math- ematics and natural sciences. Q MISS EVELYN ASHEN- BRENNER serves as Cen- tralls librarian. Miss Ashen- brenner attended Bemidji Sate Teachers College and the UND where she receiv- ed her BA degree. She also has charge of the Library Club. XIISS ALICE BOEN attend- ed the UND where she re- ceived her BS degree. Miss Bot-n teaches shorthand, typ- ing and distributive educa- tion. Reading and knitting and attending football and basketball games are her fa- vorite hobbies. She is also Tri-Y adviser. GEORGE BOHNEN serves as freshman science teach- er. Mr. Bohnen attended XYinona State Teachers Col- lege, and the UND, where he received his BS and MS degrees. Ile is the freshman class adviser. Hunting, fish- ing, and reading are his fa- vorite hobbies. ED BUHNIIOFF, former head football coach. gradu- ated from Concordia College and received an MA degree from the UND. Bonniels first teaching was done at East Side Central. Ile has many hobbies, but hunting and fishing take up most of his leisure time, M I S S BEULAH BOM- STEAD advises the school publications, the CENT- HALIAN and the FOHX in addition to teaching Ameri- can literature and journal- ism. Miss Bomstead received her BA and MA degrees from the UND. Her favorite hobby is traveling. MISS ISABELLE BORK teaches Homemaking 2 and is an adviser for the Tri-Y Cabinet. Miss Bork attended the NDAC. ller favorite torms of relaxation are sew- ing, reading and sports. YEHL L. CLARK heads the sehooI's printing department and teaches driver's train- ing. Mr. Clark is a graduate of the UND where he re- eeived his BS degree. Art work and traveling are his hobbies. MISS THAMAR E. DUF- XYA teaches mathematics and United States History. Dr. Dufwa is a graduate of UND and has done graduate work at the University of Minnesota and at Cornell University, She holds three degrees: BA, NIA. PHD. MISS LEAL EDMUNDS, who teaches English, is a graduate of the UND. Miss Edmunds took graduate work at the University of XVashington in Seattle and holds a BA and an MA de- gree Besides being a Tri-Y adviser, she spends her spare time reading and gardening. A. C. EILAND, who is the head of the visual education department, teaches physio- graphy and world geogra- phy. Mr. Eiland holds BA, XIS and BA degrees.
