V. E. ESSON, who is hall patrol adviser, teaches social sciences. Mr, Esson started -teaching in Overly, North Dakota, and taught in sever- al other schools before com- ing to Central. He holds BA, MA and MS degrees and teaches six hours of methods at the UND. AHTIIUH ll. EVIU, student who teaches physics and algebra, is also adviser of the senior high student council. Mr. Evju has a BA degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. Ile taught in Rockford, Iowa, before C0111- ing to Central. Fishing is his favorite sport. jAMES E. FAGERSTHOM teaches bookkeeping, typing, business relations and busi- ness law. Mr. Fagerstrom re- ceived his BA from Valley City State Teachers' College. He serves as senior class ad- viser. JAMES P. FORSLUND re- eeived his BS from Moor- head State Teachers, College and his MS from the UND. Mr. Forslund teaches U.S. history, world history and business relations. He also acts as adviser to junior High Court. His hobbies in- clude art and ice skating. JOIIN GISSEL is the new higher mathematics instruct- or. Mr. Gissel attended Augsburg College in Minn- eapolis, where he received a BA degree and then at- tended the UND where he got his MS degree. Central is his first teaching position since graduating from col- lege. He is adviser for the Forx. PAGE LEO hi. HAESLE is direct- or of orchestra and hand and teaches instrumental classes. Mr. Haesle also has charge of the Shrine Band, Elk's Band, Grand Forks Munincipal Band and the City Symphony In his sparc time he enioys a game of golt. CARL L. HAGEN acquired his BA degree at St. Olaf College. Besides teaching government and economics, Mr. llagcn coaches debate. ln his sparc time he pursues his favorite recreation. horse- back riding. MISS ALICE IIALE teaches art classes and serves as ad- viser to the cheerleaders. Be- fore coming to Central Miss Hale taught at Iacksonvillc, Florida. In the summer, she likes to work at resorts. DONALD D. HALL gradu- ated from Ianestown Col- lege and holds a BA degree. Mr. Hall is Central's head basketball and track coach and serves as assistant coach in football. llunting and amateur carpentry take up his leisure time. RUSS DAGNY M. HAS- SELL, instructor of mathe- matics and hygiene, is also the adviser of the seventh grade class, Y-Teens and junior Red Cross. Miss Has- sell has received a BA de- gree from the UND.
