HOMECOMI '86 During Homecoming Week at Central West, the halls hummed with activity. Members of the Student Cabinet scattered about distributing Falcon fever bookmarks and painting CHS lipstick tatoos on loyal Falcon hands and faces. Even the boys exhibited the fever and wore lipstick for a clay. Everyone enjoyed meeting costumed friends in the halls and gawking at their attire for the five homecom- ing dress-up days: decades day, twin day, nerd day, starfpunk rock day, and red-and-white day. Underneath the cover of darkness, eager volunteers from both classes worked diligently on homecoming lawn decorations design- ed to carry out the theme, Walk on Walker. After many nights of sweat and toil, the sophomore class received se- cond place overall and the freshman class came in fourth capping a year of practice which will certainly assure them a headstart in next year s competition. Homecoming Week 86 came in with whispers of anticipation and built to cheers of victory on Friday evening when the Falcons defeated Walker 27-8!
