Ms. Louise Todd sponsored DECA for the 1986-87 school year. The members of DECA met on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 a.m. DECA completed several activities this year. ln November, they par- ticipated in a Thanksgiving project Thanks for a community service center. In December they took a col- lection of toys up for Toys for Tots. Finally, inthe spring they hosted an Employerfiimployee banquet. Of- ficers this year included: Iris Moore -- Presidentgb Misty Culp --4 Vice Presi- dent, Kim Elmore - Sec., Penny Stock - Trees., and Mary Taylor -- Reporter and Chaplain. Another service organiztion, VICA, made some worthwhile con- tributions to our school, This year, VICA's sponsor vvas Aubrey Kelly. VICA met once a month and wheneverfa meeting was necessary at 7:00 p,mQ The club sponsored the Toys for Tots drive and the Employer Banquet.
