Mr. Spillers first came to Central in l933. Since then he has seen many changes on the campus. The enrollment has increased to almost 900. Also many new buildings have been added. Mr. Spillers has worked very hard since he first came to Central. He has worked hard to make Central a better school, so that the students of this community could have a better education. We can only thank Mr. Spillers for his 26 years of hard work and service to Central High. We are also losing another one of our teach- ers this year. A person who has given much ot his lite as a service to his community, Mr. Walter Atwood has been teaching at Central for i9 years. He is the oldest of 8 child- ren and was born on a small tarm in Utah. ln l94O Mr. Atwood started teaching at Central, where he was the director ot the Agriculture Depart- ment. He has received many rewards for his work in the Future Farmers of America. Mr. Atwood is truly a great person, He is recognized by everyone for the help which he has given many of his students.
