Cgoutll CQulJ SAFETY COMMITTEE The Central Safety Council has as its aim, the promotion of safety around the campus. lt is a member of the Fresno Coun- ty Junior Safety Council which is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. ln February, they launched their Flare Campaign to raise funds for activities which are sponsored by the Junior Safety Council such as the Mobilgas Economy Run and the Teenage Rodeo. This campaign consisted of selling packets of flares to motorists to use in case of emergency. No matter what they are doing the members continue to uphold their purpose-to create, maintain and ex.end throughout the school, church, and community, high standards of Christian living. This is part of a nationwide organization tor girls interested in homemaking and com- munity services. The requirement is limited to girls who have taken one or more semesters of home- making. ln December, FHA held a Family Ban- quet in honor of their families.
