Vice Principal P. B. Davis BOY'S AND GIRL'S COUNSELOR At Central Union High School, the boy's and girl's counselors main concern is with the welfare and personal development of students as well as with their progress in the classroom. Students have the opportunity to discuss various problems in privacy and in confidence. These problems may pertain to future education activities, or problems of a personal nature. On behalf of the student body at Central High, the annual wishes to thank Mr. Hartman, boy's coun- selor, and Mrs. Maurine Tocchini, girl's counselor, for all the help, advice and guidance they have given us. The social, moral, and personal relationships of the student to his fellow student and the com- munity are of vital concern to us here at Central Union High School. The happy friendships and im- portant events surrounding the school life of each student are reflected in all of the pages of our an- nual. lts importance will increase with the years. Paul B. It is always a wonderful experience to see students develop as they pursue four years of training at Central which will help them as they develop into fine citizens and take their place in community, state and national life, Class of l958, as you finish your high school education, go to college or take your place in the vocation of your choice, you will have a genuine and lasting feeling of loyalty to Central, and a feeling of appreciation to the com- munity which made this high school education available to each of you.
