Jldiiiiiiigtnatioii If there is anything I dislike it's home- work! l'm sure many of you share my senti- ments on the subject, especially Mr. Link. What's that? He says he enjoys home- work! Well, l can't say that l agree with him at alll! Our wide variety of subjects, which in- cludes everything from English and Chem- istry to Woodshop and Homemaking makes our high school a place of training as well as enjoyment. Maintaining and seeing that the school runs smoothly is the duty of our principal, Mr. W. H. Spillers. Mr. Paul B. Davis, our Vice-Principal, has done an excellent job in overseeing the activities the students take part in. On behalf of the student body, we, the annual staff, wish to express our thanks to the administration for all the help they have given us. on utufce wi Elle umbmowln

Principal W. H. Spillers The El Centro, in accordance with the tradition of Central's annuals, con- cerns itself primarily with the extra curricular life of Central students, with special emphasis on the Class of l958. Of course, El Centro also gives space to activities of other classes as well. This will be the twenty-fifth class that l have seen graduated from Cen- tral. It is always a wonderful experience to see students develop as they pursue four years of training at Central which will help them as they develop into fine citizens and take their place in community, state and national life, Class of l958, as you finish your high school education, go to college or take your place in the vocation of your choice, you will have a genuine and lasting feeling of loyalty to Central, and a feeling of appreciation to the com- munity which made this high school education available to each of you. Our congratulations and thanks to the El Centro staff and Advisor for the fine work done again this year. W. H.
