'ionamge amd laQaclQ um online K3 Eileen Rogers, Bond Mascot. Som Thomos, Drum Major. Moe Wodo, Heod Mcijorette. BAND The Central Union High School Band looks very dignified this year with their new band uniforms. This year the band has had many activities, such as marching in parades, performing at games, and taking part in exchange assemblies. At the Fresno District Fair, the band gave a half hour concert. In November, the fifty-five member band, drum major, majorettes, and mascot with their instructor Mr, J. Byron Nikolauson, went to Long Beach, California, to perform in the An- nual All Western Band Review. Before going to Long Beach, they had to make money to pay for the expenses of the trip. Two of their biggest projects were: sell- ing calendars and Cadillac Candy . Thanks to the community, the projects were very suc- cessful. Page 99
