TIGER HOUSE lf you were a poor young girl and sud- denly found yourself in possession of a love- ly country estate, but by the terms of the will you were obliged to live in it constantly for a period of one year, you wouldn't hes- itate to do so, would you? But on the other hand, if you were told that the house was haunted by your deceased aunt and that a phantom tiger appeared at midnight in order to regain possession of a mysterious collar of jewels which had been stolen from its neck years before, what would you do then? That was the situation that confronted Erma Lowrie, heroine of the great mystery thriller, TIGER HOUSE, which was pre- sented by the Senior Class. Just what was behind all the strange and weird happenings and how Erma manages to retain possession of her inheritance man- aged to make as exciting an evening in the auditorium as Central has ever experienced. The plot was well founded, the situations were breath-taking and there was a delight- ful thread of romance for those who enjoy the love element. Cast: Erma Lowrie ..... Yami ...,....,..,.. Before joining, they must first pass an efficiency test on music. With thirty-one members, the mixed chorus has sung for many school functions. They have sung for the PTA, the Christmas Play, Veteran's Day Program, May Day Program, and Graduation. ln November with their instructor, Mr. Marvin Buller, the mixed chorus went to Berkeley, California, to participate in the Music Festival of California, which is composed of high schools from all over California. With the All County School Chorus, the ten members of the mixed chorus chosen to represent Central, participated in the National Christmas Tree Program held at General Grant in Sequoia National Park, ln the spring, the mixed chorus and the band presented the Spring Concert to the student body.
