Dedimf Zin Axel Uhd, oldest bus driver poses by Central's newest bus. As everyone knows we are very dependent on our bus drivers. Therefore, we would like to show our appreciation for the fine work and many hours of one driver in particular by dedicating this annual to him -- AXEL UHD, Born and raised in the Central Union District, he attended the Houghton Grammar School. His three children, born and raised in this district also, attended the Cetnral High School. He has been farming in this district all his life. When he first started his career as bus driver the students would never believe that his name was Uhd and, instead, thought the name was his initials. From then on he acquired the name of Uncle Harry Dudleyl Now after 26 years of service at Central, we the El Centro staff of nineteen hundred and fifty- five, wish to dedicate this book to a very fine person and friend.
