They took a 20 to T8 victory from Riverdale for the Fresno County Championship, coming from hehind late in the lourth quarter to snatch the victory from the hands of Riverdale. Central at one time in the third quarter trailed T6 to 6. The C's took the Shasta League Title by winning every game, They have several tough spots but came out with an undefeated season to their credit. John Nakamura was high point man tor the C s with a total ot 96 points out ot 206 points, He had an average of better than TO points tor nine games. L,.... s VARSITY BASEBALL The varsity baseball team coached by Marty Kaufman, had a fair season. They would lose one game by a lopsided score and then turn around and give their next opponent a beating they will well remember.
