Once the season got rolling, the team began to score more and more while still being known as a tough defensive club. The teams greatest asset was its tremendous balance. No one player was a single standout in any category of play. While all players had their nights as a scorer, Gene Johnson and Don Van Bibber were the top scorers with i5 point averages. John Springer had a 13 point average and was second in rebounds to only Don Kruger who ruled the boards in almost every Central game.
