To become a Thespian, one has to earn points in -either acting or backstage work. After all, the play's the thing and we doubt if there ever was a Thespian who felt the smell of grease paint wasnlt the most wonderful thing on earth. We will each remember the parts we played, the characters that became alive at our will. Board organizes girls' sports. QAQ 0 This is a recreational and ath- letic organization, with a mem- bership of forty, advised by Miss Hyman, which strives to promote athletics, and to foster the ideal of good sportsmanship. -Any girl may join, though the member- ship qualification for voting is 100 points. The girls participat- ed in such sports as basketball, volleyball, softball, badminton, and a new novelty recently intro- duced to Central, Scooties. Among their school activities, they held a candy sale, sponsored pep assemblies, and offered girls' basketball demonstrations during the halves of games. You make the baskets, girls! We'll make the noise! Just a small change in this popular cheer for our Girls' Athletic As- sociation.
