Oiseth, lournalism l The library-just before semester exams K :Q ...A ' fs...-if Mr. Oiseth gives part of the Echo staff a few pointers The Pi statt Works on into the night Sophomore English, taught by Miss Bardon, Mrs. Whipple, Miss Currie, and Mr. Graber, of- fers the student the fundamental principles of composition and literature. Iunior English, under the title of American Lit- erature, delves into the lives and works of the great men in American prose and poetry. Miss Harvey and Miss Currie are the instructors. One semester of the course is spent in the study of public speaking and journalism, taught, re- spectively, by Mr. Taylor and Mr. Oiseth. Miss Lomoe also teaches American literature, but it is in conjunction with American history. Senior English may be obtained from one ot three sources: Current literature taught by Miss Harvey, English literature, by Miss Dickinson, and World literature under Dean Rasmussen. Devil's Pi, Echo, Dramatics, or Public Speaking is available to juniors and seniors alike and tull class credit is given. Mrs, Athalxe Harper, Librarian
