So as he goes out into life he is able to read uriderstandmgly and appreciativel s y magaumes and books and to enioy a play on the stage or at the movie.

MISS RASMUSSEN Dean OF Girls Deans We owe much to those who are the axis upon which our school lite spins, and because ot their extreme importance in our school lite, strangely enough, they are the ones most likely to be tor- gotten. The deans are not, as they may seem, the ruthless persons who, through compulsion make us do the things that are best. But instead they are trying to destroy our bad habits through a friendly relation- ship with us. Because ot their intelligence and experience, we can gain the principle of ethics with very little hardf ships or heartaches on our part.
