Mr. Shonk Elizabeth Canine The En Em is the yearbook put out by the Senior class. The staff lays out the pages, has pictures made, does write-ups. puts the book together, and sends it in. There is then a waiting period in which everyone sits around on pins and needles, and finally the En Ems are all finished and brought back to the school. There is then an En Em party for autographing the annuals. Financing the annual is done mostly through advertising and subscriptions. A talent show is held after the last home basketball game, and a free-will offering is taken to help with En Em expenses. Mr. Shonk was the sponsor of the group. The staff includes students in all grades who are interested in any phase of newspaper production. There are 43 members filling such positions as typists, distributors, printers, and reporters. Other important job holders besides those listed above include: Andrew Kainass, Art Editor; Myron Miller, Head Printer; and Alan Frantz, Sports Editor. The Cen-Hi-Sun was established in 1934. Linda Warner, tocando la piano. EL CLUB ESPAINOL (THE SPANISH CLUB) Este es el ano segundo que ha estado un Club Espanol en Central. Los miembros tienen que ser estudiantes de espanol. En el Club Espanol, los miembros aprenden de la gente que habla espanol. Durante el ano. el club veia unas peliculas de Mexico y Espana, y hacian unas fiestas. El club se encuentra dos veces por mes los viernes. This is the second year for the Spanish Club at Central. The members of the club must be Spanish students. In Spanish Club, the members learn about Spanish speaking people. During the year the club has seen films about Mexico and Spain and has had several parties. The club meets two times per month on Fridays.
