Sophomores The sophomore class has had a busy year. Most of the fellows have participated in sports, three having made the sectional basketball team. Many girls are members of G. A. A. The three yell leaders are from the class. Many are in the music groups and two participated in Latin contests and one in Math. We had one party at school. Juniors The “49-ers” began their gold-digging career by sponsoring a colossal Hallowe’en Fiesta, following that by giving efficient service at concession stands at home games and the New Year’s tournament. We hope the Valentine Ball which was a “crowning” success in this its initial year will be continued in the future. Freshmen It was just last fall that we started out, wondering what our first year at high school would be like. Maybe we were some scared but mostly excited, and now we are in full swing. No longer class us as “green freshies” for our spirits are high and we have liked very much our first year in high school.
