Message In time you will appreciate this book much more than you do just now. You will be proud to have been a part of the work, the activities, and the fun that builds pleasant memories. You will value the traditions and the advantages of Central High School more than ever. Your principal is proud to have had a little part in continuing the long series of efforts to make this school stand out in the state educational circles. You have contributed much by your cooperation and your loyalty, and all of us need to continue to push forward to keep Central High School in the lead. Let me urge you, who are leaving us, to be adventurous in mind and in spirit. Our state and country need people who are not satisfied with the super- ficial in either case. Central High is proud of you now, and we believe that in the future we will have reason to be more so. We Wish you. well and hope we contributed something to your success. MR W. M. Dear Classmates, Our Senior year is ending. For those who put forth their efforts to pass there is the prospect of college, work, or marriage. This year could have been thought of as the determining year in pi our maturity. The decisions we are now making will determine what type of people We are to become. We feel that the educations received y at Central and our various other alma maters, if we have taken fullest advantage of them, will show in each of us the maturity we should definitely have to make successful futures. FLOYD JONES Sponsor fans, Junior ficers Dear Classmates, This year has passed almost too quickly for most of us and rather slowly for some. We have accomplished a great deal academically, sportswise, and in the activities of the school. We have maintained a good school spirit. Of course, there have been times when our grades havenit been what they should, or when we've lost an important ball game and our spirit slacked off somewhat, but those times were usually in the minority. We look forward to our last year of school with anticipation for that feeling that we have finally risen up in the world and endeavor to prepare for plans, co-operate with teachers and classmates, and maintain the fine attitude the class has upheld for the past few years. Let us accept the challenge of the opportunities Central High offers and make our high school education really worth while. 4 JUNIOR CLASS EDITORS Lewis Adcock Dot Ainsworth Gladys Allen Marilyn Alsobrooks Nancy Awad fxly Alf Anderson y Randell Arender A Billy Arthur Elaine Baldwin Barbara Bates Gerald Keith Beaird 1 Lmlly Bates Linda Benson Charlene Black F redna Boyd Pat Bramlett VX Robert Brannon Elizabeth Bray Alton Brewer Mildred Brown ,V ,. f, 1, Milton Carpenter Twyline Carter W.
