MRS. LONA ALMOND Within only a short while, Centralites have discovered and come to love a truly fine person, Mrs. Lona Almond. ln the classroom, she creates about her an atmosphere of understanding, helpfulness, and learning. Not only her mathematics students, but all with whom she comes in contact are deeply and lastingly impressed with her absolutely unselfish and tireless efforts toward the development of all students. Therefore, it is to you, Mrs. Almond, one of our most inspiring friends both in and out of school, that we proudly dedicate this, the 1954 Cotton Boll.
