EEIHEIGN LANGUAGES IJEPAHEAAENE The Language Department of Central High School offers to the students courses in three languages, French, Latin, and Spanish. As there is no language require- ment for graduation from high school, all the courses are elective and may be pursued for one or two years with no less credit for the first if the second year is not elected. ln addition to literary, cultural, and scientific value, the study of the language, as well as their affiliated clubs, affords most students much pleasure and person- al satisfaction and enables one to meet the language entrance requirements of many colleges.
