EDITOR’S NOTE Just a word as to how the favorites were chosen: The Most Representative Boy and the Most Repre¬ sentative Girl were elected by the senior class from a list of candidates nominated by the faculty. The basis for these nominations was leadership, character, scholar¬ ship, and sportsmanship. From a group of nominees suggested by the Senior Cabinet, a group of teachers followed by a committee of three judges, Mr. Win. A. McKenna, Sue Barnett, and Helen Byington, selected the University of Houston Reception Beauty. The School Beauty was chosen by Mr. Wm. A. Mc¬ Kenna, an authority on art, from pictures submitted by girls desiring to enter the contest. The Junior Favorite and Sophomore Favorite were elected by their respective classes from a list of nominees named by the faculty. The basis of these nominations was the same as for the senior class representatives. J. F. WOMACK
