Since our fifty cents dues proved inadequate to finance our activities, the French Club opened two candy booths in Central’s corridors. his and various other undertakings were successfully carried out by the competent officers with the assistance of our beloved sponsors and the cooperation of the members. La Estudiantina i he club was formed for the purpose of promoting things Spanish among the after¬ noon students of Central, registered in the Spanish department. OUR programs are novel affairs, with lectures on the student-life and customs of Latin-America, old Texas legends, and Spanish songs.
