Since our fifty cents dues proved inadequate to finance our activities, the French Club opened two candy booths in Central’s corridors. his and various other undertakings were successfully carried out by the competent officers with the assistance of our beloved sponsors and the cooperation of the members. French plays, games, and solving cross-word puzzles were some of the means of creating the pep and fun present at every meeting. OUR programs are novel affairs, with lectures on the student-life and customs of Latin-America, old Texas legends, and Spanish songs.
