TO THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 1965: The great year of 1965 has finally arrived! This is the year which you thought would never come. This is The year which will always live in your memory as the year when you graduated. This year is a milestone- a landmark on your iourney Through life. Time has passed so slowly up to this point, but you will soon notice that it seems to pass more and more quickly. Strange how that happens! Your responsibil- ity is to use the fleeting time wisely. Make the most of every minute, for you will not pass this way again. I am indeed proud and honored to have had the opportunity of sharing this, my first year at Central, with you. Without hesitation l recommend you, a mem- ber of this class, to the college or vocation of your choice. You are prepared if you have learned how to learn. Take advantage of your opportunities, but do not be false to any man. l charge you to keep the Spirit of Central High, and it will serve you well. We trust that the Muskogee schools have been instru- mental in helping you to have an understanding of and an appreciation for the American ideals that have made our economic, political, social, and religious achievements the most spectacular in recorded history. The Central High School faculty's fondest dream and desire is that each of you shall be well prepared aca- demically, mentally, and socially for both a successful college career and profitable employment of your skills. l have great faith in youth and a firm conviction that tomorrow's world will be in good hands because of the high economic, social, political, and spiritual ideals that will be a part of your adult lives. I congratulate you warmly as graduates and wish you God's speed and blessing as you go forth from the halls of Central to add honor, glory, and prestige to our American ideals and way of life.
